PRIVATE GUIDED TOURS

Private guiding is OsakaDoko’s core service. Each day is planned around the group’s profile, combining historical and cultural context, logistics, pace, and enough time to truly enjoy each place.

Private for couples, families and small groups.
Guiding in Portuguese or English.
A full day of approximately 6–7 hours or a compact version of up to 4 hours.

HOW IT WORKS
Before the tour, we get to know the group’s profile, interests, priorities, and pace. Based on that, we plan the day to balance the places that make sense for the experience, the logistics between them, and the time needed to enjoy each stop.
During the tour, the goal is not simply to show the way or accompany travelers from place to place. History, culture, customs, and context are part of the experience, always shared in an engaging and accessible way and adapted to the interests of those traveling.
The itinerary can be adjusted throughout the day when necessary. Physical considerations, weather, crowds, or simply wanting to spend more time in a particular place can all be part of a personalized experience.
WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED
Transportation, meals, admission fees, and personal expenses are not included in the guiding fee unless otherwise stated in the proposal. When necessary, we can provide guidance and help organize these items.
PRE-TRIP CONSULTATION
Clarity before departure is part of a good trip too.
The pre-trip consultation is an individual conversation for travelers who are already planning their trip to Japan but want to make decisions with greater confidence before departure.
WHO IT IS FOR
For travelers organizing their own trip who want help clarifying questions about cities, transportation, how to structure their days, priorities, or logistics. During the consultation, we review the existing plan and provide guidance based on the traveler’s profile and goals.

PERSONALIZED ITINERARY
For travelers who want to explore independently — without starting from scratch.
The personalized itinerary is designed for travelers who prefer to explore Japan independently but want to begin with a plan built around their profile, pace, and priorities.
HOW IT WORKS
Before we begin, we hold a briefing to understand the travel dates, destinations, interests, group composition, and travel style. Based on this information, we organize each day with a logical sequence of visits, efficient transportation, and enough time to enjoy each place.
The final material brings together the information travelers need to follow the plan independently, including points of interest, suggested order, practical transportation guidance, and relevant notes for each day.

WHAT THIS SERVICE DOES NOT INCLUDE
The personalized itinerary does not include in-person assistance during the trip, reservations, or the purchase of transportation and admission tickets by OsakaDoko.
ACCOMPANIED TRANSFER
Between the airport and your hotel, with support throughout the entire journey.
The accompanied transfer service is designed for travelers who prefer not to handle transportation between the airport and hotel on their own. In every option, an OsakaDoko guide meets the group at the agreed location and stays with the travelers until they reach their final destination.
This service is available exclusively to travelers who have booked at least 1 day of private guiding with OsakaDoko. It is not offered as a standalone service.
01 · Train / subway
The guide meets travelers at the airport or hotel and accompanies them throughout the journey to their destination. During the trip, they assist with purchasing tickets, choosing the best route, identifying platforms, connections, and other necessary guidance to ensure a smoother journey.
02 · Taxi
The guide meets the group at the airport or hotel, arranges for the taxi ride, and accompanies the travelers to their final destination. The guide remains with the group throughout the journey to ensure they arrive correctly at the agreed-upon location.
03 · Private transportation
The guide meets the travelers at the airport or hotel and accompanies them to their final destination. The vehicle is operated by a third-party transportation company, and OsakaDoko pre-arranges the schedule and type of transportation suitable for the group, which may include an executive car, van, or minibus, depending on the number of passengers and luggage.
IMPORTANT
The service does not include baggage handling or loading, nor assistance with check-in or check-out at airports or hotels. Each passenger is responsible for their own belongings throughout the entire journey.
When taxi or private transportation is used, the transportation itself is provided by duly licensed third-party operators in accordance with Japanese regulations. OsakaDoko is responsible for accompanying the travelers and, when applicable, coordinating the service in advance.

Each project is aligned in advance with the agency, taking into account the traveler’s profile, the agreed scope, and the way each partner prefers to work.
When necessary, OsakaDoko can rely on a carefully selected network of guides and professionals in Japan, while maintaining close oversight of the service provided.
